Sitting on my bed wearing last week’s pajamas, recovering from a minor stroke that wasn’t supposed to happen to me, wondering what the hell I was supposed to do now.
I walked away from a successful but exhausting career and began to create something new. Something that was risky, but mine. Something that let me tap into decades of experience and a lifelong passion for design. I started scared, made 1,582 mistakes, and built a business that is everything I ever wanted.
